Just speaking off the cuff here. This is only for those brothers and sisters who can actually read the big picture.

1.

People have been asking me to weigh in on this: should you back the pro-opening side or the lockdown side?

Honestly? I’m with neither. Because if you’re past 30 and you still think this debate is about right versus wrong, that tells me one thing: you fundamentally don’t understand the rules of the game on this land.

Let me say it plainly — the argument between both camps is pointless. Anyone still fighting about it now basically doesn’t have the full-picture thinking required. Starting from late November, the trajectory was already set: no matter how bad it got, the pressure valve had to be released. The specifics, I’ll leave unsaid.

2.

We have to be objective about this: everything in the world is made of trade-offs. Where there is Yang, there must be Yin (Yin and Yang). I’ve always understood the caution we exercised early on when the situation was unclear — because that caution is precisely what allowed us to weather the most dangerous original strain during the most treacherous period.

That same caution, by its very nature, meant slower movement and some imperfect consequences as a result.

But however you look at it, what we got in return was a far less virulent strain — one that the vast majority of people can now handle.

Honestly, as scorecards go? I’d give this one at least a 95 out of 100. Not perfect — but absolutely a genuine effort.

During this period, the last thing I want is for you to let work and career worries scramble your mind. It’s not that they don’t matter — it’s that for at least the next two or three months, they are nowhere near as important as your family and your health.

This illness isn’t just about prevention. It’s about recovery.

Add to that the current overall atmosphere, and I remain firmly convinced there’s no need to pour a lot of energy into work and career for these two or three months.

A craftsman who sharpens his blade doesn’t fall behind on the woodcutting. Take these two months to rest and fully recover — restore your energy completely. If you’ve been meaning to go home and be with family, go now while there’s still warmth to share around the table.

Once you’re fully recharged, do you really think the opportunities to go out and make your mark will have disappeared?

4.

Refuse groundless pessimism. Do not let the defeatists pull you into their ditch, convincing you that things will only get worse from here.

The underachiever’s favorite move is to collapse everyone else’s drive to improve — it makes them feel better.

The broader trend is actually not as critical as you think. Some of the darkest moments we’ve faced before this one turned out to be precisely when the most newly wealthy people emerged — the best moments to seize opportunity and position yourself well.

For those who catch the rhythm, and those who miss it, the life ahead will be two entirely separate parallel worlds.

Never, ever underestimate the resilience of this land — or the new opportunities still buried within it, waiting to be found. We’ll go into the specifics in upcoming pieces.

5.

The next year will be exhausting. The next three years — manageable. Five years out — quite good. Ten years from now — exceptional.

Only those who understand the macro will know what this truly means.

Remember: time is still on our side. The thing is, the whole world is currently in a downward phase of its cycle, and the years 2022–2025 will bring a seismic reshaping of the global order — so it’s hard to see a clearly bright horizon right now.

Don’t worry too much. When the cycle heals, clarity will return — the path through the willows always opens onto the bright flowers again.

One more thing: please stop spending your days drowning in those emotionally charged, doom-and-gloom articles that circulate constantly. The people writing them are, frankly, operating from a lower tier of awareness — they can’t even hear the wind shifting, let alone read it. Letting them affect your mood is like getting rattled by the retired know-it-all in your apartment complex who loves to bluster. That’s genuinely embarrassing.

6.

Wait just a little while longer. You’ll come to realize that many things ordinary people cannot see are, in fact, entirely and firmly in hand.

Our role? Rational observers. That’s all we need to be.
