I never obsess over intricate Feng Shui arrangements. What I care about is simple: the moment I step into a space, what’s my first impression?

If that impression is bad — no matter how grand or gilded the place may be — I turn and walk away. If the impression is good — even in a modest, unadorned space — my mind settles right in.

I’ve lived this way for years, and it has served me well.

If your perception is keen and your perspective broad, you’ll understand: the world you inhabit is a vast ocean of energy fields (Chi fields). When a place is aligned with you, you’ll feel a remarkable resonance. You’ll feel at ease, free — quietly nourished by something you can’t quite name.

The opposite is equally true. When a place clashes with you, you’ll quickly sense an inexplicable repulsion. You’ll feel conflicted, oppressed — your vital Chi slowly draining away.

Remember this chain: environment shapes your Chi field, your Chi field generates the connections you attract, and those connections determine whether your encounters bring good or harm.

Beyond one’s own willpower, countless forces shape the arc of a life.

So when a place makes you uncomfortable, and things keep going wrong — don’t hesitate. Change your environment, change your circle. Have the courage to move toward the auspicious and away from the harmful.

Only then will your life flow with ease and grace.
