The day before yesterday I shared some thoughts with my brothers and sisters on the topic of “getting out more — absorbing the spiritual Chi of heaven and earth, drawing in the essence of sun and moon, and restoring both body and mind.”
The response surprised me. Everyone agreed, and many asked me to go further — to share more practical suggestions for elevating their Chi fortune (气运).
Fair enough. Some of these principles carry real weight. Today is a rest day, so let me sit down and talk through a few more with you.
1 — Guard your mouth carefully. The mouth is a person’s single greatest energy gateway — Chi flows both in and out through it.
Never go around telling everyone how sick you feel, how exhausting your work is, or how difficult your life has become. Say it often enough, and you risk turning it into prophecy.
2 — Your desk should be clear and bright. Your bed should be fresh and tidy. Your bathroom should stay dry. Your kitchen should be clean. Each of these spaces corresponds to a different dimension of your wealth fortune and career development.
I’ve said this to many brothers and sisters who’ve asked me to read their destiny framework (格局): as long as a person keeps their desk, bed, bathroom, and kitchen clean and dry, their fortune simply cannot go too far wrong.
3 — A lot of young people today take shortcuts — when food is left over, they dump it straight into the toilet. This genuinely alarms me. Anyone raised in a household with real traditional knowledge would never permit this.
Just sit with this sentence and you’ll understand the problem: pouring the food you eat down into the toilet, to flow away through the sewage pipe.
Read that twice. Feel it.
4 — In my last piece, I suggested that when heading outdoors, seek out forests, gardens, orchards, farmland, rivers, lakes, and open mountain terrain — places where the spiritual Chi of heaven and earth gathers and concentrates.
But if you’re in the city, I strongly recommend visiting the most prosperous, high-end shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, and exhibition halls. These places carry an exceptional quality of heaven-blessed golden Chi. Prestigious institutional halls and university campuses are also excellent choices.
5 — Jade, prayer beads, jewelry, gold, silver — wear what you like, according to your own preference. But if within two or three days of putting something on you immediately begin encountering inexplicable bad luck, sell it or return it without delay.
6 — Whatever you’re working toward, do not share it with others too early. And even after you’ve succeeded, simply enjoy the quiet joy of it to yourself.
Don’t mistake keeping your success to yourself for wearing fine clothes in the dark. Understand this: plans fall apart when exposed. Once others learn of your prosperity, many will quietly harbor jealousy and resentment. That accumulated negative energy builds over time — and you don’t want it finding its way back into your reality.
7 — If you wake in the morning or lie down at night and feel a sudden, inexplicable anxiety — a vague unease that no physical examination can explain — postpone any major moves or decisions in the near future.
Human beings are the highest order of life between heaven and earth. Even the most unaware person has moments of genuine cosmic resonance. When your instincts are deeply unsettled, don’t charge forward recklessly. The odds of failure are high, and you’ll only squander precious opportunity and energy.
8 — As a general principle, I don’t encourage unnecessary meddling. Don’t let yourself become overly entangled in others’ karma (因果), and don’t let so many people depend on you that they’re quietly draining your energy.
That said, within reasonable limits in everyday life, treat the people around you with kindness — and that includes delivery drivers, shop assistants, ride-share drivers, and all kinds of service workers. Where you can extend grace, extend it. Where you can help, help.
And especially — never deliberately make things difficult for others. Causing harm plants bad karma (业力) that eventually returns to you. If you have a complaint, channel it properly and let the platform handle it. Avoid direct conflict with individuals. This is not weakness. This is wisdom.
That’s all for today. If my brothers and sisters are interested, I’ll add a few more thoughts in the coming days.
