Renowned Chinese wisdom teacher sharing timeless insights on wealth, destiny, Feng Shui, BaZi, and the art of living well.

Good — dear brothers and sisters, Master Chi has something important to say to you.

If you’re hoping to build your career in earnest over the next few years, and enjoy the kind of income that flows in like gold every single day, then I urge you: use these next few days of holiday to truly rest.

And by rest, I don’t mean flipping your sleep schedule upside down. I don’t mean “special forces travel” — cramming yourself into overcrowded tourist spots, elbowing through the crowds, running yourself ragged until the holiday leaves you more exhausted than a week at the office.

What Master Chi means by rest is this: use these days to move at a leisurely, comfortable, unhurried pace. Relax your body and mind. Enjoy a few days of genuine quiet.

Eat well. Sleep enough. Ease your heart.

Don’t underestimate this. The human body and mind are fascinating things.

If you keep driving yourself at relentless intensity, you’ll perpetually be in a state of “insufficient charge” — like a phone stuck between 50 and 60 percent. Enough to get by, but no reserves when something unexpected hits.

And when something does hit — your energy runs low, your backbone goes soft. Results suffer: things get done halfway, problems get half-solved, opportunities slip through your fingers.

This isn’t an exaggeration. After all my years walking through this world, Master Chi can say one thing with absolute clarity: every person who has ever accomplished something great did not do it on cleverness alone. They did it on abundant energy, strong Chi and vitality (气血), and fierce mental power.

While mediocre people scatter their attention across trivial nonsense, the truly capable are like fully fueled engines — focused, efficient, pouring themselves into what actually matters.

Don’t believe me? Look at any major businessman, any celebrity, any top influencer. Not a single one of them isn’t brimming with drive and fire, every single day.

So remember this: the foundational prerequisite for conquering anything — career, life, opportunity — is always energy, vitality, and mental strength. Wisdom, strategy, sharp thinking, deep understanding — all of that comes after.

And why are they always so driven? The answer is simple. When they work, they give everything. When they rest, they rest completely — recharging themselves all the way to 100%.

So when they unleash, it comes out like thunder. Like bamboo splitting open — nothing can stop it.

The most foolish thing? Using your holiday to further drain and hollow yourself out. Heart exhausted, body worn down.

Watch such people. Their fortunes and Chi fortune (气运) will only decline — like a tree with its roots damaged, slowly wilting, growing thin and hollow.

So for the next few days: go and rest. Completely, without guilt.

This is not escape. This is not laziness. This is recovering your vitality. This is planning before moving. This is knowing when to draw the bow — and when to release.

Master Chi is doing exactly the same. Over the next few days, I’ll spend time with family, slow my pace, pick up a book, and replenish my energy. This year has been relentless from the very start — non-stop, not a moment of idle.

That said, I will still write some longer pieces for you. The content through the first half of this year has been somewhat “gentle, soft, and restrained” — shaped by the currents of the times.

Going forward, the intensity goes up. It’s time to show some edge.

Because what lies directly ahead is a wave of massive transformation — and hidden within it, countless opportunities.

Once you’ve rested enough, it’s time for you to let your claws show too.
