Actually, I already know — without you even saying it — that anxiety has been following you around these past two years.

Can’t eat properly. Can’t sleep. Sometimes even breathing feels tight, your chest pressed down by one thing after another.

Suppressed. Worn out. Restless.

I get it, dear brothers and sisters. And the reason I get it isn’t because I have some rare depth of spiritual wisdom — it’s simply because I’ve lived through enough. Over time, the heart grows larger, and the life pattern (格局) expands along with it.

That’s really all there is to it. I have no grand philosophy to preach. I just want you to understand one simple truth: Actions are yours; outcomes belong to heaven.

So if something is eating at you, here’s what you should actually be asking yourself:

When you set out to do this, was your intention genuine?

Have you done the work to cultivate every necessary condition?

Beyond benefiting yourself, has this effort helped someone else along the way?

Have you put in the effort that genuinely needed to be put in?

If you can honestly answer yes to all of the above — then you have no reason left to be anxious. Whether it succeeds or fails, heaven will decide.

If it falls through, it simply means the karma (因果) hasn’t fully ripened yet. Heaven is nudging you: simmer a little longer.

If it comes together, it means your effort landed exactly where it needed to. That’s the harvest you’ve earned.

Whatever the result — as long as you’ve genuinely done what was yours to do, that’s enough.

Why do we spend our youth absolutely certain that human will can conquer all, only to find, somewhere past forty, that most people quietly begin to believe in destiny?

Because after enough lived experience, you finally understand: human effort has a ceiling. But how karma unfolds? That, in the end, is guided by something beyond us.

So stop overthinking. Aside from wearing yourself out, it really doesn’t accomplish much.

Get some rest. Lie down. Read a couple of pages. Watch something that lifts your spirit.

The good outcome will come. Quietly. On a bright, sunlit day. When you least expect it. ☀️
