You and I alike should be willing to admit it openly: we are ordinary people, nothing more.

In this world, we are not particularly important. Without us, the world keeps turning — the sun rises just the same.

After all, beyond ourselves and a handful of those closest to us, no one else truly cares what happens to us.

But this is precisely why we must treasure this hard-won life — and live it well.

How do you live it well? My answer is simple: stop overthinking, stop looking too far ahead. Just focus on the single step directly in front of you. Take it seriously. Take it patiently. That alone is enough. That is already success.

A person’s entire life — every achievement, every breakthrough, every rise in the world — is built from countless individual steps taken one by one.

Don’t be afraid that you won’t see results right away.

As long as each step you take is positive, optimistic, kind, correct, and grounded in reason —

— one hundred steps will draw good fortune, one thousand will accumulate blessings, and ten thousand will transform your destiny.

On this, I give you my absolute and unconditional promise.

So — career not going well? That’s alright.

Never give up on yourself. And stop spending your days blaming the times, the economy, or your circumstances.

That energy belongs to saving yourself.

In the quiet of the night, don’t give in to laziness. Review and reflect. Think carefully about which details you can refine. Watch the more capable people around you — study how they carry themselves, how they navigate relationships.

Every day, use your phone or a pen and paper to write down your thoughts and the changes you’re making. Adjust yourself, one step at a time.

And — romance not going well? Also alright.

Never deny your own worth. Don’t be intimidated by today’s gender tensions, either — there will always be good-hearted people in this world who want exactly what you want: a decent, loving life.

Start by honestly assessing your own character and situation. Identify your weaknesses and work on them. Exercise. Take care of your appearance. Most importantly, spend more time with friends who carry themselves with integrity and whose values are sound.

When you meet someone you’re drawn to, don’t obsess over gain and loss. Express your goodwill graciously and naturally — then let fate do its work.

Over all these years, I have read destiny charts (命盘) for more people than I can count. I’ve helped countless souls map out their futures — taking lives that felt like scattered sand and giving them clarity and direction.

And the one insight I’ve drawn from all of this is this: the vast majority of people ruin themselves through their own scattered thoughts and restless minds.

Too many people are undone by one single problem: thinking endlessly, doing almost nothing.

And so, many goals that were once simple, pure, and beautiful end up buried beneath their own inner noise.

The truth is, you already know what’s right. You already know what’s good.

What is right — do it.

What is good — learn it.

Simple. Clear. Decisive. Immediate.
