Today’s piece matters more than you might expect. Read it slowly — it has the power to shift your thinking and draw wealth toward you.

Of all the things that frustrate me, nothing comes close to readers who seek my guidance while being consumed by greed — fantasizing about claiming every advantage life has to offer.

They want a thriving career and the leisurely life of someone with effortless wealth. They want flourishing wealth fortune and to remain above worldly struggle. On top of all that, they want good health, a long life, family harmony, and peaceful days.

Honestly, anyone who thinks this way fundamentally misunderstands the heavenly way and the order of destiny. And in this world, once you lack that understanding, you are destined to pay dearly for it.

Remember this: among all the treasures of human existence — achievement, fame, profit, rank, relationships, blessings, longevity — if you can genuinely hold two or three of them at once, that is already a beautiful life. If you can hold four simultaneously, that is an extraordinary destiny and fortune.

Do not dream of gripping everything in your hands at once. The more you chase that, the more you’ll end up with nothing — like a fistful of sand slipping through your fingers.

In all my years reading people’s life patterns (格局), I’ve arrived at this summary: true achievement leaves no room for leisure; true fame leaves no room for purity; true profit leaves no room for peace; true rank leaves no room for ease; true connection leaves no room for stillness; true blessing leaves no room for dominance; true longevity leaves no room for striving.

What does this mean?

If you want material gain, conflict will follow. If you want credit and achievement, disputes will follow. If you want a name that people recognize, slander will follow.

There is an old saying: Heaven and earth are just (天公地道). Its true meaning is this — whenever you receive something, you will inevitably pay a corresponding price. There is no escaping it.

This is the heavenly way.

And the heavenly way abhors fullness; the human way abhors totality.

Once you reach the very peak of something, what comes next is unavoidable — a descent.

This is why, every time I sit down to analyze a reader’s life pattern, I make things clear from the start: For these two years, let’s first build a solid foundation of wealth. Once your stable income and prosperity are secure, then we consider finding the right romantic partner for you.

Steady. Step by step. Layer by layer, with clear logic — never greedily grasping for everything at once.

After several years of living this way, you will still encounter small setbacks. But overall, life will move forward with stability. Each year a little more settled, a little more comfortable.

The reason I approach it this way is simple: I know that being too aggressive, too hungry for quick results, will only cause the universe to strike back against you.

So now you understand why I say: seek only small satisfaction — never seek completeness.

What I truly hope is that today’s article helps your heart settle. Stop letting anxiety and pressure crowd out your clarity.

Instead, tell yourself plainly: Do well with what is in front of you. Guard what wealth you already hold. Cherish the people in your heart. Align with the natural order of things. Stay unmoved by praise or humiliation. What comes to me is my fortune — what leaves me is my fate.

Each day, do not seek grand breakthroughs. Seek only small, steady steps forward. Persist in this, and when you look back years from now, you will find — without quite noticing when it happened — that everything you once wished for has quietly arrived in your hands.
