There was a time when I always dreaded the end of a break — knowing I’d have to turn around and face the weight of work again. I was genuinely unhappy about it.
But as my career slowly found its footing and my mindset matured, something shifted: whether resting or working, both are simply part of how we experience life.
When you’re resting, rest fully — don’t carry the burden of feeling like you’re wasting time.
When you’re working, give it everything. If you’re going to put in the effort, do it well — start strong, finish strong.
This matters most when a holiday ends and you’re gearing up to get back in the game. Make sure you step into that inner posture: “Alright — I’ve recharged. Now it’s time to go out and build something.”
Like a great athlete, giving yourself positive mental cues from time to time is remarkably effective.
One more thing — I think tomorrow is going to be a good day for you.
A new beginning. The conditions around you are quietly warming up across the board. Keep going — it will come together. 🌞
Get some rest early. I’m going to read a few more pages before I turn in myself. We’ll talk again tomorrow. 🌙
