The final chapter of the pandemic has arrived at last.
Especially with today’s supplementary eleven measures, alongside adjustments rolling out across the country, everything is sending us a clear and unmistakable message: from now on, each of us is the primary guardian of our own health. Our fortune and misfortune — we handle it ourselves.
That said, I personally carry no great fear in my heart.
Over these past three years, while the virus’s transmissibility has multiplied exponentially, its pathogenicity and lethality have weakened just as rapidly.
Judging by the cities that have already begun reopening, there are no signs of a large-scale collapse of medical resources — and no indication one is coming.
The warmth of everyday life is slowly returning. Prosperity and vitality are awakening once again. How good that is.
We have every reason to believe the virus still deserves our vigilance — but not our panic. At least, that’s how it looks right now.
Even so, we must absolutely take personal precautions. I’ve always been clear on this point.
First, make sure your vaccination is complete. Second, stock your household with adequate medicine. I’ll lay out exactly which medicines and supplies are essential later in this article.
But the virus itself is not the heart of today’s discussion.
What truly matters today is that we need to have a serious conversation about the “post-pandemic era” — and specifically, over the next five years, what changes we should make to our own lives.
Because you and I have every reason to believe that after these three long frozen years, the entire landscape will shift fundamentally — whether you’ve noticed it yet or not.
And within each of these changes lies an enormous, untapped opportunity — and within each, a deep and not-yet-recognized danger.
So if you are someone who is naturally timid, who has no desire whatsoever to change your current circumstances — I do not recommend you read or save this article.
There’s absolutely no need for you to waste this time and energy. Go watch short videos and celebrity gossip instead — much more fun.
But if somewhere deep inside, you sense that after all this suffering, your moment to turn things around is finally approaching —
And if you’re willing to put in the work, to seize this moment with courage and conviction and reshape how you live —
Then this article is written for you.
Years from now, you will be genuinely grateful that on this very evening, you read a piece of writing this incisive, this logically rigorous — a true guide for the life ahead.
