The Life That Never Drains Itself

Renowned Chinese wisdom teacher sharing timeless insights on wealth, destiny, Feng Shui, BaZi, and the art of living well.

Those who know me well already know this: Master Chi is someone who almost never wastes energy on inner turmoil.

Whether in the depths of rock bottom or back in comfortable circumstances, my life is remarkably simple. Every day, the same five things: reading, fitness, immersing myself in work, being present for family, and high-quality socializing.

Just these five. Nothing else cluttering the edges.

As for inner turmoil? Anxiety? Worry?

I’m sorry — there’s no room for any of that in my worldview.

No matter how enormous the crisis, I simply put my head down and sleep. Tomorrow, rested and sharp, I’ll have all the energy I need to sort it out properly.

Because I have always believed this: every difficulty in life is ultimately dissolved — gradually, inevitably — by ingenuity, perseverance, and time.

As long as a person still has fight left in them, no problem can truly defeat them.

That said, I understand completely why you might be anxious right now.

You don’t know what the future holds. You’re afraid of making mistakes, afraid of loss, afraid that when things spin out of control, you won’t be able to catch yourself — won’t be able to hold up under the weight.

But do you realize?

From the moment we are born, our destination is death. The journey in between is inevitably filled with countless hardships and obstacles.

That is the iron truth.

So Master Chi hopes you will honestly remind yourself: don’t let one uncertain situation send your mind into chaos just because you can’t see clearly where the path leads.

No matter how overwhelming something seems — as long as you’re willing to face it with calm — you will find that there is always a way through.

Then simply feel your way forward: adapt, explore, resolve.

And one day, when you finally come out the other side, you’ll suddenly realize that your own capability and standing have quietly risen to heights you wouldn’t have thought possible.

This is exactly what I see when I sit with my students to map out their life path and analyze their life pattern (格局).

I’ll tell them clearly: in each phase of your life, simply focus on these specific things — and without fail, unexpected wealth, noble benefactors (Gui Ren), and good fortune will appear before you.

At first, some students don’t believe it. But as they slowly put it into practice, they discover it’s exactly true.

The reason is simple.

Life, at its core, is a subject of practice — not a subject of thinking.

For the vast majority of challenges: roll up your sleeves, face them boldly, and you’ll find that every mountain road has a way through, every trial an exit.

So — stop the inner turmoil. Stop the anxiety. Stop the worry. All of it is meaningless.

Take my word for this: invest your time confidently and wholeheartedly into these key things — reading, fitness, immersing yourself in work, being present for family, and high-quality socializing.

When a difficult problem arises, don’t fear it and don’t delay. Simply face it with steady calm.

Trust me — gradually, you’ll discover that the more you live this way, the more your difficulties and hardships quietly begin to circle around you… and pass you by.
