In this world, the true winners really only come in two kinds: those who have always enjoyed good health, and those who have always carried a joyful spirit.

Besides, we’re nearly at the real end of the year now, and I know — better than you might expect — what you’ve been through and how you’ve felt over these past twelve months.
You’re carrying a lot. All kinds of emotions, all kinds of weight. You don’t have to say a word — I already understand.
But I don’t want you to blame yourself for any of it. There is one thing I truly need you to learn: “Understand yourself; see the world clearly.” Sit with those words. Turn them over in your mind. The meaning will come to you on its own.
And one more piece of advice: I, your Uncle Chi, sincerely hope that in the next two months, you’ll make a point of offering encouragement — however small — to the friends, companions, and colleagues around you.
There’s no profound secret behind this. It’s simply the old truth: love given returns as love received; blessings offered come back as blessings received. Sometimes a single word of encouragement — something you toss out almost without thinking — can genuinely warm another person’s entire world.
Just as you and I have been doing for each other — supporting and accompanying one another, all the way to this very moment.
