Tonight I want to share a few important, heartfelt words with you — if you’ve been exhausted lately, take your time reading this. [hug]
When I was young, I always thought that getting something done meant burning yourself up through sheer brute force. Especially in my early twenties, I would genuinely toss and turn sleeplessly through the night over something that wasn’t progressing the way I wanted.
But as I matured with age, I came to understand: whether a great undertaking succeeds or fails, it has its own predetermined course.
All you need to do is pour enough effort and time into it — and as for the final outcome, even if it falls short of expectations, it will always be good in its own way.
Throughout this process, the best mindset we can hold is the one that old saying captures so literally: “Do what you can as a human, then surrender to fate.”
In practical terms: give 85% effort every day, make sure you get proper rest, and commit to the long game — that’s enough.
Looking back, many of my past investments brought no material returns. Yet they became returns of experience, lessons, and hard-won understanding — strengthening me at an invisible, internal level. And it’s precisely because of this that my success rate today far surpasses what it once was.
Life really is that mysterious. It won’t always return your investment in the form you expect — but it is its own kind of energy conservation.
The reason I’m saying all this is because I know clearly: this year hasn’t gone the way you hoped. There have been so many efforts that seemed to go to waste, leaving your spirit completely deflated.
But Master Chi still wants to tell you: don’t be afraid — all of that effort will come back to you in the end. Just not immediately. I can guarantee you this, even without having read your destiny chart (BaZi).
Rest easy.
Also, we’re now truly at the tail end of the year. Everyone is starting to wind down, preparing to rest and celebrate the New Year. At this point, no matter how hard you push, results are hard to come by. And honestly — overworking yourself is both unwise and inefficient. So given that, why not go half-work, half-rest? Leave more time for yourself, your family, and simply living.
Finally, Master Chi genuinely wants to put a hand on your shoulder, give you a hug, and tell you: I’ve seen every bit of how hard you’ve held on this year — I see it clearly. There were moments when tears welled up in your eyes, and yet you held them back through sheer willpower.
I know. I know all of it.
You’ve truly worked hard. And it’s truly been difficult. I understand.
Going forward, don’t keep yourself so tightly wound. Letting yourself relax a little is not a sin.
Besides, next year is right around the corner — we’ll read the broader landscape then, ride the current of the times, and put our energy in where it counts. That’s completely fine.
Sending you a hug. Get good rest — deal? [hug]
