I’ve been traveling around North America lately — looking at assets, catching up with friends, handling various matters — and I happened to catch a cold along the way.
So just a quick note to my readers: the longer pieces will have to wait until I’m back in the country and recovered. Give me a few days.
Today, let me share one simple yet profoundly effective principle.
That principle is: flowing water brings wealth.
Many people think this is just a poetic image — a pleasant description of scenery, nothing more.
Not so. My understanding runs deeper than that.
The way I see it, “flowing water brings wealth” describes a mindset — a spirit of actively pursuing wealth.
Here’s the thing: money is like water. If you want to possess it in abundance, you must find the source. Without that, no matter how hard you grind, it will keep slipping through your fingers.
So how do you find the source?
The most revealing method is to look within your own destiny chart (命盘) — what your ruling star says, what your wealth palace holds, how your property sector is configured. When a genuine noble benefactor (Gui Ren) reads it for you, it’s nothing short of an awakening.
That’s exactly why so many readers hold me in such deep gratitude and regard.
But for most people, the most effective path to finding a wealth source is actually the old-fashioned way.
Travel a thousand miles. Meet ten thousand kinds of people.
Let yourself become like a river in full flow — never stopping, always encountering new landscapes and new lives.
And after enduring much hardship along the way, you will eventually converge with a true, abundant source of wealth — and from there, settle into a life of genuine security.
Put plainly: pour everything you have into broadening your perspective and life pattern (格局), and let your lived experience continually nourish both.
That is the true meaning of flowing water bringing wealth.
It is also the most sincere insight I carry after engaging deeply with wealthy individuals across the C4, C5, and C6 tiers.
What strikes me most about those who are truly fluent in creating wealth is this: even after achieving financial freedom, they never stop actively engaging with life. They keep going — new worlds to explore, new possibilities to discover, new environments in which to test their fortune.
For you, wherever you are right now, I hope you cultivate the habit of moving and looking — of always being in motion, always observing.
Like flowing water: unceasing, unhurried, never resting, never rushing.
Remember — as long as you stay on the road, your wealth source will find you. Sooner or later. It is written. ☀️
