In all my years, I have never seen a single person achieve a fulfilling life and successful career through online “practical tips,” big-name lectures, industry conferences, training programs, or trade news.
Following high-quality bloggers online does offer some benefit — but it mostly comes from the “you become who you surround yourself with” effect of sustained exposure.
It’s somewhat like being in a class with a strong study culture — the environment alone helps lift your grades.
But what actually makes you better is what happens once motivation kicks in: the material you study, the experience you gain through practice, and the lessons you draw from honest reflection.
If you want to grow stronger, steadily grind through the heavy material, practice seriously in your work, and patiently take stock of everything you’ve done.
Boredom, monotony, and solitude — these are the norm.
And if you can’t do that — it’s fine. Peacefully accept that you’re an ordinary person. Live your days honestly. In your free time, work out more, spend time with family, take care of your health. Play some games, get outdoors, pick up a hobby you enjoy. There’s no need to envy others or spiral into anxiety. Living out your own life with a smile is more than enough.
