The Timeless Puzzle: What Years of Matchmaking Taught Me About Attraction

Master Chi
Renowned Chinese wisdom teacher sharing timeless insights on wealth, destiny, Feng Shui, BaZi, and the art of living well.

I still cannot understand it — this age-old puzzle that stumps so many people.

When most people go looking for romance and marriage, they tend to assume that others either “only care about inner character” or “only care about family background and net worth.”

This is wildly off the mark. Frankly, it’s one of the clearest signs that someone hasn’t had enough real experience with love and relationships.

In all my years, Master Chi has helped bring together more marriages than I can count — high-status couples and ordinary ones alike — so let me tell you plainly:

If you’re a normal person with a stable job and a reasonably functional family background, and you add decent looks and a well-kept physique on top of that — you become an absolutely devastating force.

Why? It’s simple.

First, the vast majority of ordinary people simply cannot “sit with you and slowly appreciate your inner world and wisdom.” Over an entire lifetime, the opportunities for that kind of genuine deep connection are remarkably rare.

Second, humans are not animals — but we are, at the end of the day, highly advanced animals. This directly determines that when it comes to choosing a partner, humans do care about looks and physique. Unless you possess other qualities so extraordinary that they cause people to completely overlook your appearance.

Now, Master Chi is not asking you to spend a fortune going under the knife. But I sincerely hope you understand this: when you have a choice, do your best to watch what you eat. Stop indulging in those heavy, oily, excessively spicy foods. When you have free time, don’t waste it — get moving, exercise. And start paying attention to good outfit combinations.

Don’t fixate on expensive luxury brands — but when you go out to meet people, your clothing should give others the sense that you have a degree of taste and refinement.

Stick with this for a while, and you may not tower above the crowd — but you’ll surpass the vast majority of ordinary people.

And this, truly, is the most direct way for an ordinary person to improve themselves within their means.
