Yesterday’s article, as expected, went invisible.
But this, too, was anticipated. Even though I was careful — quite restrained in how I wrote it — many readers still caught the deeper meaning.
And that deeper meaning is the most delicate part of all. So to avoid misunderstanding, let it disappear. That’s fine.
Of course, there are curious souls out there still wondering: they read the same article, so why couldn’t they see anything beyond the surface?
Student Question
Hello, Master Chi. I’ve been a member of the community for about three months now, and I’ve grown a great deal during that time. I’m now thinking about starting my own business. A close friend of mine has resources and connections, and I’d like to collaborate with him. Although we’re in regular contact, I get the sense he hasn’t really considered adopting my proposal. I’d like to ask for your guidance on how to resolve this.
Today’s article is written for your children — and it’s important.
I deeply understand the helpless anxiety parents feel when they don’t know how to guide their children’s development. Because if a child simply won’t open their eyes, no amount of energy or effort poured in will make any difference — the child remains like a stubborn stone, impervious to all persuasion.
So I’ve long since lost count of how many times, on some perfectly ordinary day, a friend has reached out to me — pleading, reminding me over and over — to please, please help wake their child up.
The greatest tragedy in life is toiling your entire existence only to find you never enjoyed a single moment of it.
Don’t wait until your final years, looking back on everything, only to realize the only thing you can remember is relentless struggle — not one sweet memory to show for it. That would truly be pitiful.
So my life philosophy has always been this: know how to strive, but also know how to live.
Student Question: Hello, Master. I saw you mention building a side income and creating a personal brand in the new group. I’ve been working on it for about three months now. My monthly side income is around 4,000 yuan. But recently I’m running into two problems:
I put my heart into the writing, but there’s very little engagement. Very few people tip. I wanted to write content every day. I kept it up pretty well for the first few months. But I’ve covered so much ground already — now I don’t know what to write. Master Chi’s Response: Let me share the story of one of our community members.
Foreword
I have always believed that the quiet hours of late night are the perfect time to settle the mind and sort through one’s thoughts. Why squander those hours on meaningless short videos and idle entertainment, when you could find genuine joy in even the smallest forward movement?
Tonight surprised me more than most. As my thoughts wandered, they shaped themselves into something worth writing down — a short essay I’d like to share with you.
I’ll be honest with you — when I was young, I too was driven into a state of utter destitution by forces beyond anyone’s control.
At my worst, I was truly grinding through the dirt — facing debt disputes in the hundreds of millions every single day, dealing with both the legitimate and the shadowy.
I was barely in my twenties then, with none of the wisdom or foundation I have today.
No — they are the true signals of a great transformation descending upon us. — Master Chi
If you want to develop sharp insight into the grand currents of world affairs, your best move is to stop staring at those hyped-up, sensationalist media accounts that pump content straight into your brain all day long.
Because every word they write has been deeply processed with one purpose: to ignite your emotions, make you lose your reason, and drag you completely into the biases they’ve pre-set for you.
Student Question: Hello Master Chi. I recently started working at an insurance company. I previously heard your teachings about building a side business — that if you have the energy, you should develop a personal brand. I’ve now made some money from my side business and found a group of like-minded friends. How can I amplify my current advantages?
Master Chi’s Response:
1. Most people will never grow wealthy from a side business. The primary reason is that what they do is too easily replaced.
Student Question
What do you currently do? I work at a foreign company handling automotive parts trade and procurement.
What field are you in, and what problems are you facing? I’ve been in the automotive aftermarket space and have offline supplier resources and decent supply channels. The problem is I have no stable sales channel to monetize — sales are sporadic. I occasionally collaborate with friends where I handle the supply side and they handle the client side, but demand is inconsistent. I’m thinking about opening an Alibaba International store to do automotive parts export. The first year requires roughly 70,000 yuan in investment, which I don’t currently have. I’m on the fence about whether to move forward.
