Preface:
When I was young, Master Chi also admired all manner of heroes — business titans, capital predators, political strongmen. Each commanded their era, magnificent and thunderous. But what fate gave them was brilliance, not happiness.
Looking back now, very few among those heroes found peace in their later years. This is because they walked the path of overt victory, relying on reckless aggression and clawing wealth from seas of blood.
Everything in this world revolves around the idea of fate and connection — people, events, and principles alike.
Some of life’s deepest truths may have passed through your ears without leaving a mark — not because they were wrong, but because you hadn’t yet lived enough to feel their weight. Only after walking through enough of life do they suddenly hit you with full force.
So for this article, Master Chi asks very little of you — just let your eyes pass over it once, and let it pass through your heart once. That is enough.
As the new year approaches, it is always the finest opportunity to reflect on the full sweep of the year’s experiences. The insight I’ve distilled from this year can be captured in a single line: “A lucky carp seeks only momentary right or wrong; a prosperous dragon decides the length of an entire life.” This is the finest gift this turbulent year of 2020 has given me. Put plainly: being right in the moment doesn’t matter much — being right over a lifetime matters enormously.
Since it’s been a while since I dedicated an article specifically to the investment market, today Master Chi has decided to summarize thoughts on the upcoming “market positioning strategy” in the most straightforward and simple way possible.
But precisely because it’s straightforward and simple, I worry you might overlook those passages where profound truths lie hidden in plain language. After much deliberation — so be it. Whether you have the insight or you don’t, everyone ultimately has their own destiny. I’ll say what needs to be said, and that’s enough. Wealth and poverty are heaven-ordained. The good news is that over the next few years, the broader market has essentially confirmed a trajectory of “slow bull,” so many of these perspectives and logical points will eventually be validated — there’s no rush.
As part of the “main text” series that Master Chi writes every so often, this article focuses on how to cultivate and consolidate a powerful personal network in the social arena.
Because this article is intended for those brothers and sisters who are already sharp and gifted, please set aside at least 30 uninterrupted minutes before reading.
My motivation for writing this is simple: I’ve seen far too many readers dragged down by the “foxes and dogs” around them — especially women. Frankly, in today’s world, at least 90% of good women are ruined by the influence of toxic “best friends.”
Of all the people with poor destiny frameworks (格局) I have encountered, the most pitiable type among women is what I call the “Empty Beauty” — a woman who possesses nothing but a pretty face, with no depth of wealth, no real wisdom, and no genuine talent. What makes this so tragic is that nearly 90% of the beautiful women you see today deserve exactly this label. This isn’t contempt for attractive women, nor hostility toward them — it’s simply that Master Chi understands all too well how profoundly “beauty” shapes a woman’s fate.
Among those who come to me for a destiny reading (格局), one question comes up again and again: “Master Chi, why do I keep making the wrong choices in my destiny, career, and relationships?”
Honestly? That’s a great question.
From the perspective of your life pattern, the heights you ultimately reach depend on the sum total of the choices you make at every crossroads. And the root cause of why someone keeps stumbling through life is actually simple: because they don’t know what they truly need, they don’t know why they’re choosing.
A few days ago, a female destiny client of mine posed a remarkably penetrating question: “Master Chi, why is it that in this era — an era that has produced countless heroic, accomplished women — women’s overall social standing still falls short of men’s?”
By all rights, a question like this calls for a carefully argued analysis drawing on historical and scholarly sources. Instead, I gave her a blunt, simple answer that cuts straight to the heart of the matter: because there are far too many dead-weight teammates within women’s own circles — and these teammates always have their guns pointed inward.
The deeper your understanding of the world, the more you’ll find that many seemingly obvious truths are actually filled with “counter-intuitive” contradictions. Take the recently trending term “wage worker” — it genuinely puzzles me. Because at least from Master Chi’s perspective:
Being a wage worker for a time is perfectly normal. Everyone has a period in life where they must bow their heads and bide their time — that’s fine.
Introduction: If you can truly understand this article, you’ll find yourself better equipped to make sense of the many things that have happened in the underworld over the past six months — and more importantly, you’ll begin to see the single thread connecting what might otherwise appear to be a series of unrelated incidents. But understanding certain things requires more than intelligence; it requires real-world experience. So take from this article what you can — I’m not asking for more. In fact, I’ll be honest: I’d rather you didn’t fully understand it. Because if you do, it means society has left its mark on you — perhaps not blackened you entirely, but certainly stripped away some of your innocence. One more thing to clarify: everything discussed below, though much of it plays out right in front of our eyes, has largely been subjected to strict investigation and regulatory crackdown. The loopholes are being sealed. Master Chi writes this piece in the hope that you can see the world for what it is — and stay far away from gambling, negative energy, and gray or black money.
