Let me speak plainly about a few things:
1 – At 8 AM China time, Trump posted on social media: The Bald Eagle (USA) has successfully completed strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft have exited Iranian airspace. Bomb-laden strikes have been delivered against Fordow, the primary nuclear facility. All aircraft have returned safely.
2 – This means the Bald Eagle and Israel have now launched a formal, full-scale offensive against Iran — a nation ranked 16th in global military power.
3 – To some extent, Iran has brought this upon itself. For years it has been straddling the fence between East and West.
The Bald Eagle courted it. The Polar Bear (Russia) backed it. We too once helped it. And yet it tried to squeeze maximum concessions from everyone.
The result? Simply because it wanted to be the top dog of the Middle East, it ended up offending every actual top dog in the world.
4 – For us, this is not necessarily an unqualified disaster. If Iran can drag the Bald Eagle back into another quagmire for five years or more, it will buy us additional time and space to develop.
5 – Let me remind you once more: we Chinese have always been well protected by our bravest people. But in the days ahead, you should also be building your physical fitness and developing medical, supply, and repair skills to handle all manner of crises.
Written on the eve of a sudden shift in global affairs: There are critical preparations you absolutely must make — or you will live to regret it.
