Let me get one thing clear first: no matter how low you are right now, if you have the patience to read this article carefully all the way through and follow through for one year — you will absolutely climb out of that valley, and your wealth will grow steadily richer.
Because every secret an adult needs to turn their life around, I, Master Chi, have laid out completely and thoroughly in this article.
But if you don’t have that patience, then this article simply isn’t meant for you. You’re welcome to go back to scrolling short videos, playing games, or reading gossip.
The Article:
Last night, a message from my inbox made me feel deeply sad: “Master, I’ve been your reader for many years, but I’m ashamed to say I’ve never managed to save up enough to book a session with you. Right now I’m sitting alone in a park, sighing at the fact that at 39, I’ve accomplished nothing and life is a struggle. I don’t know if I’m lucky enough to receive a reply from you — could you point me toward a way forward?”
After a moment’s thought, I decided to simply write an article to answer him — and at the same time, to illuminate things for you.
1. If you have two working hands and feet, a healthy body, yet you’re still scraping by miserably — that’s most likely not a matter of luck. It’s a misalignment in your own “life strategy mindset.”
Put it even more plainly: you don’t know what to do next.
Don’t be afraid. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Instead, just tell yourself openly: Right now, everything is fine. I simply don’t know where to place my next step. Once I know the steps ahead, I will absolutely get back on track and start a new upward arc in my life.
After all, I’m not dumb or foolish. I have my hands and feet. I’m only missing a clear framework — so I’m willing to calm down and think, and to learn from the people around me who have already achieved results.
I will find the “way out in my destiny.” Once I find it, everything will turn around — this is inevitable, this is basic logic.
2. You must learn to impose discipline and self-restraint on yourself. Do not count on a “miraculous hand.”
By “miraculous hand,” I mean the vague hope that life will suddenly deliver a noble benefactor (Gui Ren), a windfall, a fortunate encounter, or a stroke of extraordinary luck — and that in one blow, all the difficulties in your life will be swept clean.
This kind of thinking is the most dangerous of all.
Some readers come to me specifically hoping I’ll find that miraculous hand in their destiny chart (命盘) — and then they simply sit and wait for the miracle to arrive.
But let me tell you something honest: even if such a miracle does happen, it is ultimately meaningless. A miracle can happen at most once — it will never save you for a lifetime.
This is precisely why whenever I analyze someone’s destiny framework (格局), my focus is never on any single turning-point opportunity. I’d much rather walk you through, step by step: what path should your life take so that it flows smoothly and abundantly for the long haul?
3. The reason I rose quickly when I was young was the advantage of my upbringing — I had the rare opportunity to witness, firsthand, the way truly top-tier people actually live.
Back then I understood: the wealth those people held had absolutely nothing to do with miracles. It was pure, overwhelming competence.
A hunter in stock investment: up at 7 a.m. every day, sits in silent meditation, reviews yesterday’s market movements and digests all the news from overnight to morning. Then high-intensity market monitoring — continuously analyzing every major trade and position distribution of his target stocks. After the close, he writes a full, detailed analysis of the day’s trend for each target stock, complete with behind-the-scenes speculation. Two or three months of this meticulous study, until he completely understands the “personality” of the target stock — only then does he move in for the hunt.
A senior broker in bulk commodities: forty-eight years old, six kilometers of running every single day without fail, disciplined healthy eating day after day — all to maintain peak physical energy and complexion. For every lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and business banquet, she carefully maps out the interests and relationships among the attendees in advance, prepares her opening remarks, toast words, and casual talking points — then steers the entire flow of dialogue. Ten thousand meticulous preparations, and then comes the great triumph, the gold in abundance.
You tell someone like this that you’re waiting for a miracle? They’ll see right through you in a single glance — they’ll know your inner world is that of someone weak.
These people achieve heights that ordinary people can only gaze at from afar — using nothing but their daily routines. Even if they laid their entire lifestyle completely open for you to copy, you still couldn’t do it.
What’s missing is raw, naked willpower and perseverance.
4. Why does my personal network consist mostly of people at this level?
It’s because conversations between smart people don’t require much effort. How are you laying things out this year? What goals are you hitting? Say it clearly, then go work toward them.
Over all these years, so many readers have come to me for destiny framework analysis. There’s very little that frightens me.
What I dread is encountering someone with a muddled mind — no preparation whatsoever, yet they force their way up to ask: “Master, will my wealth fortune be good next year?” — and in one opening line, they reveal total irresponsibility toward their own life.
Being able to ask a question like that also shows they’ve never once thought about the logic of destiny.
But I, Master Chi, prefer to keep as much distance as possible from such people. The same applies to you. Remember this: at the age we’ve reached now, it’s time to start filtering the ideas and knowledge you absorb each day.
You absolutely cannot mix with people who are defeated, dispirited, and ignorant. Over time, not only will misfortune spread to you — your own thinking will be narrowed and constrained by theirs.
Environment will inevitably shape you. You are who you spend time with — this is iron law.
Whenever you have time, use it to seek guidance from a select few, elite, genuinely valuable people instead. Because only the person who has actually picked the fruit can teach you how to grow it.
Life, when you strip it bare, is nothing but a continuous process of shedding the old and welcoming the new — making yourself stronger and stronger with each cycle.
5. So here is the sequence of steps you should take:
Acknowledge honestly the inner friction and negative emotions in your heart — but don’t let them affect the work in front of you. Build a cage in your mind. Throw them in there and leave them.
Then immediately put a stop to your unhealthy lifestyle, worthless relationships, and meaningless drains on your energy. Stop caring about all the trivial, pointless chatter on social feeds.
If there is a relationship or a situation that has been lingering in your mind, keeping you distracted and unsettled — draw a hard line, cut it completely, and do not delay.
Remember: your most urgent priority is to use sheer force of will to pull yourself back on track, and to channel every ounce of energy into your career. This is the most, most, most essential thing in your life right now.
Don’t worry — once you sharpen your focus and commit fully to your career, you will naturally connect with peers who are doing the same. Everyone around you will be striving upward with undivided hearts. You will find yourselves instinctively aligned, forming a fresh, powerful, mutually beneficial circle.
Once you enter that state, you’ll gradually begin to produce small results. And when you can steadily, consistently deliver one small result after another — you’ll find that wealth, noble benefactors (Gui Ren), and opportunity begin slowly converging toward you.
That’s when the great realization hits: legitimate wealth is nothing more than continually offering your results to society — and society will naturally give back to you in wealth and opportunity.
6. Last night was New Year’s Eve. Everyone was joyful and celebratory — though of course we all know that the days ahead still call for gritting our teeth and holding on for victory. But it was a holiday, and the mood was relaxed and at ease.
Then, as expected, as the clock approached 11:59 p.m., my phone began vibrating nonstop. Well-wishes and greetings came flooding in, one after another.
Beyond the small share of copy-pasted holiday greetings, the rest were happy reports from brothers and sisters — the fruits of a year’s hard work.
A divorced mother of two who has started her own small business. A fresh graduate who landed a quality international position. An unemployed middle-aged man who successfully brokered a situation and closed two solid deals.
These are brothers and sisters who came to me for analysis over the past year or two — only now beginning to break free from adversity.
And then there are others: a middle-class couple whose family and assets came through the past two years completely unscathed, solid as a fortress. A young reader who successfully bought into Chengdu real estate at the bottom and saw their net worth surge. A woman who found a wonderful match, married well, and is living a happy marriage — she’s 32 now.
These are brothers and sisters who came to me five or six years ago for analysis — and their life path has been unfolding more and more clearly ever since.
Honestly, these are the messages that bring me real joy and happiness.
Because behind each piece of good news is a living, breathing reader — who not only gained a more beautiful and abundant life for themselves, but created a good life for their families as well.
And that single mother, when she sent her happy report, wrote this:
“Master, I am genuinely grateful that two years ago, I made up my mind to consult you about my BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny). It made me understand that even an ordinary person, as long as they can see their own path clearly, can achieve easy, comfortable wealth and happiness.”
Reading those words last night, I felt a peace within me like nothing else.
