If none of your parents or elders ever reached a certain level in life, today’s article will strike you straight to your core.
Because this article is about the deepest layers of human nature.
And in this world, once you truly understand human nature, you understand everything else — and the logic operating behind it all.
Note: Because parts of this article touch on relatively profound heavenly secrets (天机) of human nature, save it before reading.
1 — Master Chi: I’ve always loved the phrase “nothing new can be built without first tearing down the old.” Especially when analyzing someone’s destiny framework (格局), I use it often to make the logic clear: the more lost and struggling you are, the more determined you need to be to dismantle and rebuild your current circumstances.
Because only when you completely cut away the petty people, trivial distractions, and cluttered thoughts that drain you — only then can the noble benefactors (贵人, Gui Ren), meaningful work, and positive intentions that nourish you fill your life in their place.
Otherwise, pouring the same energy and effort into your days will guarantee nothing but exhaustion and failure.
Every turning point in a person’s destiny begins with awakening (觉醒).
2 — Master Chi: I’ve analyzed the destiny frameworks of countless readers, and the ones who succeed most readily are precisely those with a “simple mind.”
A simple mind doesn’t mean naivety — it contains a terrifying capacity for execution.
These people aren’t afraid of hard problems. They don’t buckle at the first sign of difficulty, going weak in the knees and unable to move forward like some frightened coward.
On the contrary — people with simple minds meet problems and solve them. They make mistakes and correct them.
When a mountain blocks the road, they cut through it. When a river stands in the way, they build a bridge. Direct, decisive, no-nonsense.
If you are this kind of person, Master Chi can feel confident about your future. Because as long as your direction is set, all you have to do is walk forward with single-minded focus — the results will be good, and wealth and noble benefactors will find their way to you.
3 — Break free. Break free. Break free. I’ve said it to countless brothers and sisters around me, more times than I can count.
In this life, never spend too much time around people who’ve lived most of their lives and yet amounted to nothing — even if they’re your friends and family.
They’re not bad people. They’re not stupid. It’s just that beyond exchanging idle gossip, they have nothing of real value to offer you.
Remember: seek out those who are above you. Anyone who surpasses you in career, wealth, achievement, or standing is someone you can learn from.
For such a person — even if you give them generous gifts or pay handsomely — if you can earn one session of genuine guidance from them, the positive impact on your life will be enormous.
Let me put it plainly: in Master Chi’s view, even a dull-witted bear — if two or three high-caliber people systematically guide and illuminate his path in this lifetime — can achieve tremendous wealth, real accomplishment, and a genuine rise in station.
4 — The logic of making money is completely different at different levels.
At the high level, it runs on bloodlines, barriers, exclusive circles, and inside information.
At the middle level, it runs on expertise, skills, knowledge, and ability.
At the low level, it runs on physical labor, hard work, toil, and time.
I’m sometimes astonished. Some readers clearly have the talent to reach the middle level — or even touch the threshold between middle and high — yet they’re still making a living with low-level methods.
The reason is simple: “No one has ever sat down with you, in full, and told you how to walk the path of your life.”
The result is that you’ve been grinding forward alone, head down, all this time. And your parents, your elders, your friends — they had every capability to clarify the thinking needed for you to rise — because they walked the same road their entire lives.
They’ve formed path dependency and mental inertia. They can no longer find a way out themselves.
5 — In the early stages of opening up your life’s possibilities, you must achieve a balance of strength and softness (刚柔并济) — otherwise, victory is completely out of reach.
A spineless coward will ultimately become everyone’s easy target, the perpetual pushover. A reckless hothead who leads with aggression will ultimately become everyone’s enemy, isolated and alone.
Remember: you must carry some sharp edges. This is what wards off petty people, base characters, and those with bad intentions when you cross their paths.
Equally, you must have a flexible, yielding side — because that is what allows you to form genuine connections when you meet noble benefactors, high-caliber people, and those of real influence.
You must be capable of both thunderous force and a bodhisattva’s compassion. You can down the harshest liquor and savor the subtlest tea.
6 — There are two kinds of foolishness in life that you absolutely cannot commit. Commit either one, and your life is essentially written off.
The first: grinding away like a stubborn donkey your entire life in an industry with no future, no room to exercise your abilities, and no noble benefactors willing to elevate you.
The second: marrying someone with no moral foundation, no understanding of mutual support, and no sense of family responsibility — and giving your all like a foolish ox for a lifetime.
The common trait of those lacking wisdom: after making a mistake, they don’t recognize it as one. They complain and grumble endlessly, yet refuse to find any way to free themselves from their suffering.
For the genuinely sharp-minded, this is unthinkable. The moment they see they’ve taken the wrong road, they acknowledge it, correct course, and exit — refusing to let a rotten career or a rotten marriage consume more of their life than necessary.
7 — The so-called Heavenly Dao (天道) is, at its core, a brutally honest theory of evolutionary survival.
So the rules of this world are: the strong prevail over the weak, the fit outlast the unfit — the intelligent conquer the foolish, and the diligent defeat the lazy.
Some readers have genuinely had their thinking scrambled by inspirational platitudes, believing that as long as they’re “a kind, obedient, ordinary person,” life will keep getting better.
This is naive to the point of being laughable — and in some cases, beyond saving.
Whether in his articles or when analyzing destiny frameworks, Master Chi hopes you will become “a powerful, good person — one with fangs and claws and a sharp mind, but also with a clear moral bottom line.”
Only then can you, in this murky world, truly protect your family and yourself — and break through the encirclement.
8 — Those who accomplish great things don’t fight over every single moment; they seek a clear path forward.
In one lifetime, you cannot have everything. There must be trade-offs.
As long as you can quiet your mind and get the few core matters that determine your life truly sorted, that is enough.
In Master Chi’s view, the major matters of life come down to just a few things: based on your own destiny framework, find the primary career that suits your long-term development — and climb steadily upward from there.
Then, build connections with noble benefactors who can elevate you. While giving them loyalty and genuine value in return, continue advancing your career, wealth, and standing.
As your wings gradually strengthen, seek — within truly worthy and respectable circles — a life partner whose destiny framework matches yours and whose overall character is excellent.
In this way: establishing your career, building your family, rising in stature, accumulating wealth — each step walked with certainty and clarity.
This kind of clear, defined life path is also the core of what Master Chi strives to help you see when analyzing your destiny framework. Because once this path is clear, everything else — every other problem — becomes insignificant.
A closing thought: Believe that in the unseen workings of the universe, destiny has always been searching for ways to rescue you.
Just as with today’s article from Master Chi — the fact that you found it is itself a matter of fate. And it tells you this: if you can awaken now, it is still not too late.
As some readers have said after having their destiny frameworks analyzed: “Master, if I had come to you earlier, I would have reached financial freedom and a comfortable life so much sooner.”
Indeed. Because the so-called hard passes of life come down to nothing more than seeing through a few core choices clearly.
And if you can find a high-caliber mentor to help you map out your destiny framework from the highest vantage point, the road ahead of you will be wide open and unobstructed.
