1 — Don’t think that because you’re an ordinary person, there’s no point in building up financial capital.
Nearly every wealthy person in Master Chi’s circle — 99.99% of them — made their first pot of gold through two things: saving money and building networks.
On saving: even if you’re only setting aside seven or eight thousand, or ten to twenty thousand, it slowly trains your feel for managing wealth.
On networks: even brushing shoulders with one or two people who operate at a higher level than you can instantly unlock truths and insights you never understood before.
2 — Never think international affairs have nothing to do with you. You and I are both small fish in a vast ocean — the tides and currents of that ocean will inevitably shape our lives.
The good news is that right now, and for quite a long time ahead, those currents are moving in our favor.
The catch is that 99% of people will remain indifferent to this, pouring their energy into arguments and small talk — completely unaware that a massive wave of opportunity, the kind an ordinary person rarely gets to ride in a lifetime, is quietly rising on the horizon.
3 — Master Chi firmly believes that a certain external force has largely lost its ability to impose “hard constraints” on us — and that is precisely why it repeatedly channels tensions into the realm of commercial negotiation rather than confrontation.
At the same time, we fundamentally cannot place real trust in their promises. What follows, then, is an inevitable full-throttle push toward domestic technology across every sector.
Don’t underestimate what that means. It implies that in every substitutable field, we have the potential to cultivate one world-class giant after another.
4 — From a geopolitical standpoint, pure sea power is very hard-pressed to match the strength of combined land and sea power. So it won’t take long — around ten years or so — before the world takes on a very different shape.
5 — I don’t enjoy speaking in broad abstractions. I simply believe, with complete honesty, that powerful companies are only born inside powerful nations — because the wealth that global markets generate requires sufficient hard military power as its foundation.
And this trajectory? We can already see it unfolding.
If you can see it, it means that as long as we aren’t reckless, and we steadily accumulate shares in these companies over time, we will naturally find ourselves holding more and more wealth. This is a very clear and straightforward fact.
6 — A reminder that hasn’t changed: I still believe the broader market will go through several more substantial corrections, and the risks remain real.
It’s like real estate — we’re currently in an adjustment phase. From the perspective of a larger historical cycle, this is no great mystery; it’s simply a matter of time.
But if you accumulate stock by stock, brick by brick, your results in the end will be good.
7 — Master Chi doesn’t want to make you any promises. I just want to tell you this: when you feel lost, don’t let it turn inward and eat you alive.
