To be honest, Master Chi sleeps exceptionally well. Almost every night, my sleep fully restores my energy, releases stress, and replenishes my vitality.

The core reason is simple: I sleep deeply.

Recently, I had conversations about sleep with a few business owners and celebrity friends, and we found that truly good sleep depends on several key factors.

  1. In the half hour before bed, give yourself time to let your mind settle. Never actively dwell on negative thoughts, and avoid scrolling through content that stirs emotional turbulence. Warm, comforting content works best — nature scenery is an especially good choice.

  2. As you lie down, imagine yourself nestled in a safe, solid cave — or any place where you feel completely at ease and protected. Remind yourself: nothing here can harm you. You are free to fully restore your strength and energy.

  3. Your blanket matters more than you think. The ideal one won’t make you sweat, but still gives you that gentle weighted pressure against your body. That kind of blanket is what sends you into the sweetest, deepest sleep.

  4. Before bed, make sure you’ve locked the doors and windows, and confirmed that water, electricity, and gas are all off. You might also try earplugs and a sleep mask — many people sleep poorly simply because their nerves are too sensitive to sound and light. (This assumes you have family members at home who can safely look after things while you rest.)

  5. If possible, turn off the lights even half an hour before you normally go to sleep. Close your eyes and rest quietly, or let your mind wander through pleasant imagery. Either way — always aim earlier, never later.

Many people who suffer from insomnia have fallen into the same trap: they feel they’ve missed one sleep window after another, the mental pressure keeps building, and then they’re staring at the ceiling until dawn.

Speaking of which — it’s ten o’clock again. About time to sleep. Don’t put it off.

Trust Master Chi on this one: after washing up, lock the doors, check the water and utilities, then put down your phone and turn off the lights. Let yourself relax comfortably in bed and drift gently into sleep. It feels wonderful.

On that note — goodnight. See you in your dreams. 🌙😊
