Renowned Chinese wisdom teacher sharing timeless insights on wealth, destiny, Feng Shui, BaZi, and the art of living well.

These past couple of days, everyone has truly set off on the journey home.

Master Chi won’t write anything complicated today — just some straight-from-the-heart, practical advice.

1 — From the perspective of traditional culture, the biggest taboo on the road home is getting into a dispute with someone out of a momentary impulse.

If you encounter someone cutting you off, jumping a queue, grabbing your seat, or bumping into you — just step aside and let it go.

If things truly escalate, let the officers handle it and maintain order. Don’t put yourself at a clear disadvantage.

The core principle is this: don’t bring hostile energy, bad luck, or other people’s resentment back home with you. Don’t invite trouble onto yourself.

2 — If you arrive home before the Spring Festival, take some time to get a haircut. For men, aim for something clean and sharp.

Men who normally wear bangs — Master Chi is genuinely asking you: at least during the Spring Festival period, don’t let your bangs hang down over your forehead. Don’t give yourself a “clouded future.”

For women, your hairstyle should feel festive and bright. That said, if you’re under 45, try to avoid perming your hair — by the old ways, perming damages your foundational energy.

As for nail art and lash extensions — go right ahead! Aim for colors like crimson red, deep pink, orange, or plum purple. This year, steer clear of dark green.

3 — Keep some candy in your pocket or bag. It brings sweetness and earns you goodwill. Red envelopes (hongbao), of course, give those out as usual.

On top of that, Master Chi especially — really, especially — encourages men to carry a pack of good cigarettes. Whenever you run into a doorman, security guard, ride-share driver, delivery rider, or courier, offer one.

Those who understand will know exactly why. I’ll leave it as a little mystery for now and explain it in the comments later.

4 — Do not, do not, do NOT touch gambling — doesn’t matter if it’s with close friends or family, just don’t.

Some people are quite foolish about this. They think their luck is extra good during the New Year — winning hand after hand — and feel wonderful about it. What they don’t realize is that this is an early drain on their fortune.

During an important holiday like Spring Festival, the goal is to accumulate, settle, and concentrate your energy — not scatter it outward.

5 — One more thing: on the 15th (the Lantern Festival), try to clear out all your leftovers. Aim to have no overnight food in the fridge — stop eating yesterday’s scraps.

Eat fresh, eat well, eat healthy and satisfying meals.

That’s all for now. Master Chi simply wishes you a smooth and easy journey home, free from any worries — arriving safely and comfortably, reuniting happily with your family! 🎆🧧🍀🧨🎁
