- No matter what you do, having the courage to take that first step makes the rest of the road far easier to walk. Even if you move along lazily, roughly, and “good enough” — after a while, you’ll find yourself experienced, capable, and increasingly formidable.

- Why do most people stay busy their entire lives, only to end up with nothing? Because they are clever with small things and utterly foolish with big ones. They’d rather grind nine to seven, day after day, for decades — pouring their energy into petty office politics, scheming over a few hundred or a few thousand — yet they never invest that same level of time and effort into learning business, investing, or building something real: the things that can actually change a life.

- Stop learning from the weak — those dull, lazy types who love complaining about the world all day. Remember this: a tragic fate is never simply bad luck. It’s the compounded result of ten or twenty consecutive foolish, wrong choices. Why do so many people, past thirty-five, keep sliding downhill? Because as they age, more decisions are required — and every single one gets made poorly. That’s how a life becomes an avalanche.

- Life is, at its core, the final result of the choices you personally make — one after another. Why do so many brothers and sisters come to me for a destiny reading and then return every year for their annual fortune cycle (流年) reading? Why do wealthy merchants from Jiangnan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan keep me as a consultant? Put plainly: to see each decision more clearly, through the lens of Chinese metaphysics and experience. And the flip side is equally true — even the most desperate life can be turned around through 15 to 20 well-made choices.

- There is one type of person who, the moment they come to me for a BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) reading, I will gently but immediately decline — and then keep my distance from. That’s the type who’s young and naive, and opens with: “Master Chi, I was referred by so-and-so — could you check whether I have the luck for easy wealth, and whether I’m destined to quickly find a noble benefactor (Gui Ren) to help me?” Without exception, people like this will suffer and struggle for years because of their shallow nature — and only then might they wake up. Until that happens, stay far away from them. Always remember: there is no dignified path to making money in this world. Dignity comes after the money is made.

- Why do you feel anxious? At its core, it’s because you have too few anchor points in life — and your instincts keep warning you of the risks you’re exposed to. What do you do? Build more anchors. It’s that simple. Develop hard skills. Build reliable connections. Get involved in genuinely profitable businesses. Put money into assets with stable returns. Accumulate, one by one, productive assets that generate income while you sleep. As long as you steadily build in alignment with your own destiny chart, and eventually reach annual passive income of over a million — trust me, anxiety will have absolutely nothing to do with you anymore.

- In the early stages of life, don’t let flashy, exotic psychological concepts weigh down your stride. There’s one type of person I can’t stand: those with no real hardship to speak of, who act like cowards — endlessly ruminating on family-of-origin wounds, romantic betrayals, and conflicts with friends and colleagues. These people are destined to live entangled with suffering their entire lives. Those who genuinely break through fast all share one quality: a big heart. They won’t waste a single second on that kind of noise. Instead, they pour their life force directly into finding ways to make things happen.

- Never forget these words: emotional drama and volatility are the great enemies of wealth fortune (财运). Especially those who nag ceaselessly, walk around with furrowed brows, drowning in self-pity and grievance — they drive everyone away. When I encounter such a person, I move away quickly. Who has any interest in their tragic backstory? They carry nothing but bad luck. In the real world, wealth fortune and noble benefactors (Gui Ren) only favor those who are direct, decisive, and get things done. And those very people have typically endured far more hardship than the miserable souls described above.

- I haven’t seen your BaZi, but there is one thing I believe absolutely: in this world, no one’s path is easy by birth. Every wealthy person, every prominent figure, every successful person you’ve ever seen — behind them, without exception, lies a dark chapter they themselves don’t particularly want to revisit. They simply gritted their teeth and pushed through. But “pushing through” doesn’t mean sitting around waiting to be saved. It means constantly seeking opportunities, always looking for a way forward — and continuously learning new capabilities, mastering new skills. Step by step, raising your own value and competence. Taking on genuine responsibility and solving more and more problems for others. The higher the caliber of people you encounter, the more wealth accumulates. This is the shared journey of every person who achieves something real. So if they can do it — I believe you absolutely can too. After all, in this vast world, the fact that you came across this article is itself fate guiding you here.
