Master Chi
Renowned Chinese wisdom teacher sharing timeless insights on wealth, destiny, Feng Shui, BaZi, and the art of living well.

On the first day of the New Year, let Master Chi make you a promise: if you’re willing to follow my guidance and commit to living this coming year with genuine effort and groundedness — then no matter where you stand right now, by 2027, you will very likely see real progress and rewards.

Because “a full year of practical growth and steady cultivation is an immensely powerful force — more than enough to reverse a downward-spiraling destiny.”

It really is that simple.

And I don’t want you feeling pressured, thinking I’m about to assign you some complicated homework. But the following are things I hope you’ll begin, gradually, to put into practice.

1 — Health, Health, Health

Always remember: even the wealthiest, most powerful, most brilliant person in the world cannot perform at their best when a small cavity starts acting up.

Health matters because it is the foundation of everything.

My advice to you is simple: starting today, commit to a diet that is healthy, nourishing, and clean. Stay away from foods high in oil and sugar, and skip the milk tea.

Eat some whole grains, plenty of vegetables, and lean proteins.

When you have time, move your body at a pace that suits you — jogging, weightlifting, yoga, traditional martial arts. As for alcohol and cigarettes: avoid them when you can.

2 — Plan, Plan, Plan

Stop sighing and complaining about what’s wrong with your life.

What are your problems? — How should they be handled? — What are the steps to address them?

Get out a notebook, list your problems one by one, think through how to deal with each, and write those answers down too.

Don’t rely on memory alone — get it down in black and white. The dullest pen beats the sharpest mind.

Once it’s written, as soon as the New Year holiday is over, get moving. Don’t overthink or get tangled in hesitation.

Master Chi’s summary for you: Think too much and your feet won’t move. Get your feet moving and the solutions will come.

A plain and simple truth.

3 — Subtract, Subtract, Subtract

The most direct feeling I’ve had about “life beginning to rise” is that life becomes lighter and lighter.

Lightness comes from subtraction.

How do you subtract? Gradually distance yourself from people who drain you. Slowly cut away the things that hold you back. Correct unhealthy habits little by little.

Especially the people and things that offer you no benefit and no growth — quietly fade out of those, and focus your energy on your own life and development.

Nearly every wealthy and accomplished person I know lives a life that is strikingly, almost shockingly simple: handle their own work, take care of their own health, spend time with the people they love. That’s it. Nothing else.

4 — Ease Up, Ease Up, Ease Up

Last year I wrote an article that resonated deeply with many of you, and its core message was this: in moving through life, don’t rush recklessly forward — advance steadily, apply effort gradually.

Too many people today are fundamentally driven by anxiety and impatience, always looking to make a big score all at once, get rich overnight. This is a very foolish way to live.

Let me say it again: wealth, status, and resources do not come from desperate last-minute scrambling.

They come naturally once your abilities have grown to meet them.

I have never once seen a truly capable person remain impoverished their entire life. Never. And even if there were an exception, it would simply be the deepest valley of their journey — a few years later, they’d be thriving again.

As you know, Master Chi regularly reads people’s life patterns (格局) and offers guidance — so in this regard, I speak with genuine confidence.

And so, after all is said and done, everything comes back to what I said at the start: don’t worry. As long as you’re willing to give yourself a little persistence and self-belief —

a full year of practical growth and steady cultivation is an immensely powerful force, more than enough to turn a downward destiny around.

Today is January 1st. You have more than enough time.

As long as you’re willing to move forward with conviction — luck, opportunity, good things, and noble benefactors (Gui Ren) will find their way to you.

Let’s work hard together. You’ve got this.
