Dear brothers and sisters: I’ve never been one for filling every last day of a long holiday with activity. Especially those final two or three days — I prefer to slow down, restore my vital energy (Chi), and let my work life warm up gradually.
The benefit of this approach: when you re-engage with your career, the transition doesn’t feel jarring. It’s simply more comfortable.
In life, avoid extreme swings. In action, avoid sudden rushes and abrupt stops.
Besides, once Mid-Autumn Festival passes, the new year is practically around the corner — and this awkward year of 2023 has finally crossed its midpoint.
Over these next four months, let’s sprint together. In our own domains, let’s pursue the goals we carry in our hearts and claim as many of them as we can.
No matter how hard or exhausting it gets — grit your teeth and push through.
Then, let’s welcome the new year in ease and joy. Sound good?
