Stay Steady: Six Thoughts on Investing

- We’re still only at the stage where “many people are itching to try, putting in a small bit of money to test the waters.” So while risk remains, this show still has a few more days to run. The day you see greed run rampant — people mortgaging homes, maxing out credit cards, borrowing money to make a big bet — that’s when you need to be on the highest alert.

- I, Master Chi, don’t like chasing highs. If you missed it, you missed it — admit it openly and move on. This isn’t carefree detachment; it’s calm and rational thinking. Chasing highs is dangerous gambling, not the kind of investing that uncovers undervalued stocks. It easily makes you go red-eyed, and then you lose. (This is purely an example — those who know me well know that I went heavily into the market at its lowest point in mid-last year. 😏)

- If you positioned yourself in the broader market a month or two ago based on my reminders, then the best mindset is: let constancy be your response to all change. I know so many wealthy friends who made fortunes through investing — and just as many who lost everything through it. Remember this: the best outcomes usually come from getting the big direction roughly right, then patiently waiting it out. The worst outcomes almost always come from forcing a show of clever moves, and ending up trapped in a tangled mess.

- And a word to those who missed the boat: don’t risk jumping onto the back of a moving train just because you missed it. It’s dangerous. Don’t rush. Life is long, bull markets come more than once, and there will always be opportunities. Wait for the next one — arrive at the station early, and board steadily. That’s the safe way.

- I won’t make predictions, nor any recommendations. Just a simple story: for a theater to thrive, it will bring out fresh new faces to generate buzz and draw attention. But for a theater to truly thrive over the long run, it still depends on the mid-career and veteran pillars of the stage to hold things together. If you can tell who’s the newcomer, who’s mid-career, and who’s the veteran — you’ll most likely eat very well in this round.

- If you’re still feeling lost, long-press the second image in the article. And my unchanged message: if you want to get rich fast through speculation, please don’t join Master Chi’s community. Because I only believe in slow accumulation, steady steps, and ultimately building solid, lasting wealth. 🤗
