The greatest skill in the world is this: “Never judge anything by its outer appearance — always dig down to its core essence.” — Master Chi

Let me begin with a brutally honest piece of life experience.

A person who cannot see through to the essence of things will, with near certainty, spend their entire life stumbling from one failure to the next. Why? Because they will never discover the key that allows them to rise steadily.

They will pour enormous energy into their career, yet never achieve a real breakthrough — watching helplessly as sharper people accomplish more with less effort and claim the credit that should have been theirs.

They will burn through endless amounts of time and energy in daily life, yet still fail to live well. Always giving, always exhausting themselves — yet never moving from the same spot.

The harder a person falls, the shallower they tend to be. They cannot get to the point when reading situations or people, and spend their whole life firing blindly in every direction. There is no escaping it: stupidity and blindness always carry a price.

That is why, from a very young age, I began deliberately training my ability to see through to the essence of things. Now, several decades later, I have cultivated it into an instinct — never judging anything by its surface, always drilling down to the core.

Over all these years, whether dealing with business figures or those in political circles, people who have come to consult me on destiny readings (命理) have consistently described me with the same three words: not just “accurate,” but accurate, fierce, and steady.

To be honest, I am extremely pleased and grateful for that three-word assessment. In the art of reading destiny, accuracy alone simply means you understand the basic chart layout — it is an easy skill, and ultimately a worthless one. What truly matters is being able to offer advice that is genuinely effective and actually solves the person’s real problems. That is why “fierce” and “steady” are the true keys.

This article is going to explore both of those threads in depth. Trust me — by the time you finish reading, even if you never develop the ability to decode destiny charts yourself, you will at least have a clear, illuminating understanding of the underlying logic of your own fate.

What is “Fierce”?

Fierce means the ability to cut through the layers, confront the core of a problem head-on — and face it honestly, even when it is shameful or ugly, without flinching.

Most people cannot achieve this. Or rather, they are afraid to.

Take the many women who come to me after a failed marriage, clinging to a final thread of hope, asking me to read their romance fortune (桃花运). They say they want a reading, but in most cases what they are really looking for is emotional reassurance — they want me to take their side, say a few sympathetic words, and condemn their unreliable husband.

I refuse to do that. That kind of emotional comfort has zero value. Even if I spent the whole session cursing the man on her behalf — what would that actually accomplish? It would do nothing for her life, for her self-awareness, or for her reality.

It is like fighting tooth and nail for a point on a technicality and winning — you get your satisfaction in the moment, but walk away with nothing else. You have simply wasted precious years of your life.

So “fierce,” in this context, means pointing out the woman’s own problems in that exact moment — her weakness, her laziness, her blind spots. Naming every root cause of her own misfortune.

Yes — regardless of whether you are male or female, regardless of whether you were wronged or victimized — every misfortune in your life has a root cause. Like a hairline crack in an egg: once it is there, the flies will inevitably come. They will never disappoint you.

Take the example of romantic misfortune:

  • Most betrayals happen because you lacked the means to hold financial leverage over your partner.
  • Most abandonments happen because you neglected your own physical and spiritual upkeep after marriage.
  • Most wounds happen because you were far too meek and naive — your partner learned that no matter how deeply they hurt you, you would never fight back.

You are not wrong — you are weak. And weakness is the disease at the root of it all.

This is precisely why my clients keep coming back, again and again: our conversations waste almost no time. Every word is strong medicine and deep nourishment. What was once promised in vows, what faded into cold indifference — I do not touch any of that. It serves no purpose.

The best cure for pain and disappointment is to make yourself powerful at a new level — to reach a point where you feel grateful you began rebuilding early, because now you have a better destiny and better connections waiting for you. To rise again. To learn how to accumulate wealth, expand your social sphere, break free from old dependencies, stop relying on others, and claim real power in your own life. That is what matters.

Be ruthless toward yourself — and you will achieve great things. That is what “fierce” means.

What is “Steady”?

This one is a little harder to explain.

First, understand this: a life that grows smoother and more prosperous over time is never built on one specific lucky break. It is built on the systematic elevation of a person’s total capabilities.

Look around you — 99.99% of people living unsatisfying lives have comprehensive weaknesses: mediocre emotional intelligence, mediocre intellect, mediocre character, mediocre courage, mediocre drive. Or alternatively, they excel in most areas but carry one catastrophic flaw — extraordinary ability, say, but terrible character, constantly offending people and stirring up conflict wherever they go.

Either type — hand them a major wealth fortune (财运) and they will not keep it. Not a chance.

So “steady” means asking yourself: have you built yourself up fully, with no weak flanks? The more complete and well-rounded your capabilities, the more likely you are to carve out real success — and more importantly, to hold onto everything you have worked to build.

Any clear-eyed person understands this immediately. After all, who among us cannot point to someone who shone brilliantly for a moment, then faded just as quickly back into obscurity — or worse?

Knowing when your opportunity or turning point will arrive is, by itself, useless. Even if it arrives on schedule, if you are not ready, you cannot seize it.

But if you master a complete, coherent logic for your own life’s development — then even without those lucky breaks and windfalls, every major achievement and major wealth fortune that belongs to your life will still arrive on time. Because once your capability is truly in place, what once required a lucky collision to obtain becomes something you encounter regularly and pick up naturally.

“Steady,” then, simply means using logic and reason to settle your mind — and commit to the long investments that show no visible return today or tomorrow, but will absolutely pay off given enough time.

The reason most people cannot sustain that kind of steady resolve is that their limited vision prevents them from seeing the return on certain kinds of persistence.

So what do you do? You use logic and reasoning to map your life development step by step, until the whole path becomes clear.

This is why, when I walk someone through their destiny reading, I always follow this complete sequence of logic:

  • The inherent strengths and weaknesses of the destiny pattern (格局)
  • How to fully amplify your advantages
  • How to minimize and conceal your weaknesses
  • The direction of wealth fortune and career fortune
  • The timing of romance breakthroughs and elevation milestones

On the surface, every one of those points uses the language of Chinese metaphysics (玄学). But underneath, every single one is grounded in the analysis of real-world principles.

This is what makes the logic clear, the thinking sharp — and every step forward a meaningful gain.

This is why, over all these years, the men and women who have come to me for a destiny reading have, almost without exception, gone on to achieve genuinely strong results — in wealth, in career, even in their choice of partner. Every one of them stepped onto a higher level.

The reason, at its core, is simple: when I analyze a destiny reading, I am not delivering a crude answer to “Will you be rich or noble? When will the money come?”

I am giving you a complete, systematic set of recommendations for how to play the hand you have been dealt — for your entire life. Precise judgment of the individual. A fierce, unflinching analysis of the present. A steady, measured plan for what lies ahead.

Because that — and only that — is my value, and my reason for being here.
