I just saw the news that a female entrepreneur’s DY account has been banned. Honestly, this is completely justified — because she crossed an extremely serious line: exploiting the deceased.

In ordinary life, every family has its share of awkward and dark moments. Every household does — it’s just a matter of whether outsiders know about it or not.

But unless there is deep-seated, blood-level hatred, when facing someone’s passing, you should at least maintain enough respect. On the surface, at the very minimum, try to stay composed — because they were once family.

To use that moment to amplify emotions and stir up controversy — even livestreaming to sell products and profit from it — that is truly going too far.

No matter how you frame it, the essence is the same: using someone’s death as a spectacle to attract attention.

If the person involved had genuine respect for life, the most fitting response would be to remember the deceased with soft words and tenderness, holding on to the beautiful memories you once shared.

As for the grievances and disputes that occurred in between — those are best saved for quiet nights alone, to be reflected upon and sorted through in silence.
