To become a truly formidable person, you must first become a long-term thinker.
Note: I said must.
This means that whatever happens to you right now, you should regard it as a trivial, insignificant thing — something barely worth naming. Never let it shake your long-term drive to grow and rise.
For example, maybe today you said one thing too many, or you made a mistake. In the moment, it may have felt embarrassing or humiliating. But that’s alright. As long as you took a lesson from it, that embarrassment was worth it — and that mistake is no longer a burden.
Life, by its very nature, is a whole composed of long stretches of time and countless unfolding processes.
A momentary valley. A fleeting moment in the spotlight. Neither one matters.
Whether you are a dragon or a worm — time will wash it all clean and reveal the truth. Day by day, layer by layer, your true nature will show itself.
So: do not be anxious about poverty right now, and do not be arrogant about wealth right now.
Just keep going — every single day, without stopping — slowly, steadily building your real strength. That is the one unchanging truth of this life.
Happy weekend, my brothers and sisters. 🙏
