A lot of people have been asking me about this. It got to the point where I specifically reached out to contacts in my network to look into it — and in the end, it turned out to be completely baseless. A classic case of a rumor snowballing until it becomes unrecognizable.
On one hand, a win or loss that size would inevitably leave traces in the community. It makes no sense that every lurid detail gets passed around, yet there’s not a single identifiable person behind it.
On the other hand, even the most reckless player out there — unless they had some hidden agenda or were running some kind of scheme — couldn’t realistically burn through ten figures in a matter of days. Players don’t gamble like that, and the house wouldn’t even take those bets.
So, as always — I hope everyone keeps their distance from “speculation.” Embrace things with real, dependable returns.
Wealth is built slowly. The slower it comes, the more stable it is, and the better you can hold onto it.
Going for a windfall on pure luck almost never ends well.
