These past couple of days, things have finally settled into the proper rhythm of the new year — and I, Master Chi, am entering our 7th year together with you. Truly remarkable.
Some of you have asked me: “Master, you’ve already achieved financial freedom, and you have so many other ventures you’re running — why do you still write articles for us so frequently?”
That is a very good question — and a sharp one. For a moment, it actually left me at a loss for words.
Writing articles is indeed something that takes an enormous toll on the mind and spirit. Behind every article lies a tremendous outpouring of my knowledge, wisdom, energy, and heart.
Writing one or two pieces occasionally would be one thing. But sustaining it over the long term is genuinely exhausting.
So why do I keep doing it? What’s in it for me? Why?
Fortunately, after a moment to settle my thoughts, the answer surfaced naturally in my heart: In the early years, I wrote purely to explore topics I wanted to talk about — it was driven by personal interest.
But as my reputation grew and my name spread, I discovered that my articles had become essential nightly reading for many dedicated readers — and that my writing itself was giving them the courage and strength to move forward.
This is also why, compared to those early days, my articles have shed much of their fierce, untamed edge and now carry a gentler, more compassionate spirit.
Because my articles are written for every brother and sister who needs me.
As long as there are still people who find encouragement and resolve in what I write — and who continue pressing forward — I will keep writing.
That reason is clear and pure.
Speaking of which, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day once again. Though what we share is a simple bond of brotherhood and sisterhood, I still want to say it openly: even though we have never met face to face, I genuinely cherish and care for you.
Regardless of your gender, your background, your circumstances, your personality — whoever you are on the other side of this screen.
I want you to know: even if everyone else in this world looks at you with cold indifference, I — Master Chi, your trusted friend, older brother, and guide — still care about you. You are held in warm and genuine affection.
And I will continue to use words and wisdom, to the best of my ability, to light the way through your confusion and illuminate the road ahead.
In the life ahead, we walk together — like family.
