I once posted this: ⬇ Truly gifted people are rare. Most of us win or lose based on our state.
The one who comes out ahead through mental and physical condition — that’s the real talent.
✔ Mentally: resilient, slightly thick-skinned, no draining yourself from within. ✔ Physically: able to take a beating, consistent with rest, good appetite.
A follower forwarded that post to me with a question: “What if you have a weak body and a fragile heart — is there still hope?”
I say yes. And there’s one word that can’t be overlooked: accumulation (积累).
“Every stumble sharpens the mind” — that’s accumulation in action. If you weren’t born with natural advantages, you can still pull ahead of the people around you through careful observation, deliberate choices, and going deep on what you’re genuinely good at.
